Our Story

During her career as a medical aesthetician, Pauline Youngblood was in daily contact with patients who had severely traumatized skin from harsh laser treatments, acne, rosacea and cosmetic surgeries. Such patients often take up to six months before their skin returns to normal, and Pauline simply was not satisfied with the makeup options available.

Pauline began working with chemists to develop a suitable option - a product that would cover raw, inflamed or discoloured skin, while allowing it to breathe and heal. This led to her initial work with natural mineral cosmetics.

“The concept of mineral makeup was great, but the quality was missing,” Pauline says. “The colours weren’t realistic; they were too pink or orange, and they looked artificial.”

She began formulating her first loose mineral foundation, which provided excellent coverage and a natural appearance without clogging the skin. Pauline’s patients experienced such dramatic success with her new formula that they continued using it long after their skin had healed. Before long, patients and friends convinced her to make this natural mineral foundation commercially available, and in 1996 Pauline founded Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics.

More than 17 years later, Pauline’s Natural Mineral Foundation is the flagship product, and Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics is now a complete professional line, offering a wide range of products in a comprehensive palette of shades with realistic skin tones and beautiful, natural finishes. Youngblood continues to create high quality products that are innovative in both formulation and packaging.

  • When will my order ship?

    Our products usually ship within 3-5 business days (Monday to Friday and does not include weekends or holidays). However, if we have some crazy promotion or new launch, shipping could take a bit longer. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation via email with a tracking number.

  • My order has been shipped, when will it get to my house?

    When your parcel has been dispatched, you’ll receive an email that includes a unique tracking code so you can find out where your parcel is at any time!

    • Express delivery – 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends*)

  • Why isn’t my Promo Code Working?

    If your promo code won’t apply or you get an error message, check whether the following applies to you:

    • You’ve already used the code. Some of our promo codes can only be used once, so if you’ve ever used the code in the past then it may not work again.
    • The items aren’t eligible. Check the terms and conditions of the code, and make sure the items in your shopping bag aren’t excluded items.
    • The code has been entered incorrectly. The codes are case sensitive so enter it exactly as it is written and try again.
    • The code has expired. Check the expiry date of the code, as some of them run for a limited time or expire after a set period.

    If you have checked all of the above and are still having issues with the code, we’ll need to see a screenshot of your shopping bag that shows the promo code and all items in your bag. Please use the ‘Contact’ button below to report the website issue, and attach the screenshot to your enquiry.

  • My packaged was marked as delivered, but I didn’t receive it.

    While we trust, and value our carriers, issues can occur with the delivery. We recommend checking with your neighbours to see if it was accidentally delivered somewhere nearby. You can also contact Australia Post (13 76 78) to verify that they no longer have the package. If your shipment can’t be located, please contact us for assistance.

  • Are your products gluten free?

    Gluten-free consumer goods do not contain ingredients derived from wheat, barely or rye. Youngblood is pleased to offer gluten-free products, with the exception of Lipstick and Mineral Lash Prime. We do not use any animal by-products in our formulas (with the exception of beeswax and carmine).


  • Where can I purchase your products?

    Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics range is available from our online store. Alternatively, you can purchase from one of our stockists or authorised online sellers. Online shoppers should be careful when buying Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics from unauthorised websites as authenticity, product quality and safety cannot be guaranteed. We can offer you a 100% Guarantee that these sellers stock authentic Youngblood products.
